# Light

This guide is divided into different sections so make sure to follow the instructions carefully for a successful setup.

### Pre-Setup Instructions:

Our cheat uses C++ to render everything so in order to make sure that every function is working for you, you must install the following C++ Runtime Components

This is a standard Microsoft component used by many applications. Installing it ensures everything runs smoothly and securely.

{% tab title="Windows Defender" %}
Because cheat executables (.exe) modify or inject code into games to enable features like Aimbot or ESP, they cannot be officially verified by Microsoft. As a result, Windows Defender often flags our launcher as a trojan. For this reason, it may be necessary to temporarily disable Windows Defender.

**How to Disable Windows Defender (Efficiently):**

Install <a href="https://hazcheats.com/dControl.rar" class="button primary" data-icon="shield">dControl</a>, a tool that allows you to easily turn Windows Defender on or off.

You can also re-enable Windows Defender once you’re finished using the cheat.

{% tab title="Anti-Cheats" %}
Some games cause their Anti-Cheat to run in the background even when the game isn't being played, this can cause issues for when you are trying to launch the cheat as they can block it.

* Riot Vanguard

If you're unsure how to adjust these settings, search for a [YouTube](https://youtube.com/) guide using your motherboard or laptop model, or ask [ChatGPT](https://chatgpt.com/) for step-by-step instructions (include your system details).

#### **Install Launcher**

Download and install the latest version of the launcher to begin setup.

#### **Launch the Cheat**

Open the launcher as administrator and enter your license (available in your [Purchase History](https://hazcheats.com/clients/purchases/))

#### Cheat Selection

After entering your license key, you'll be prompted with 2 options (example below)

Click **2** to launch the Cheat.

Click **3** to launch the COD TPM Bypass Spoofer.

#### Start Game

Simply start the game once you see that an overlay has popped up.

Press **INS** to open or close the in-game menu.

If your keyboard does not have a INS key, use the Windows on-screen keyboard.

### Troubleshooting

Below is a variety of common errors, simply click on the error code you are facing to open the dropdown

<summary>Stuck at Scanning for Game Platform</summary>

Go into game and manually hit the following key binds for your platform. Ensure you are in the lobby screen and not the HQ:

**Xbox:** F10\
**Battlenet:** F8\
**Steam:** F9

<summary>Driver Status 0x1</summary>

* Check if Memory Integrity is disabled.
* Check if vulnerable driver blocklist is disabled.
* Ensure all Anti Cheat software is disabled.
* Repeat the **Windows Defender** step from our [Pre-Setup Requirement](https://help.hazcheats.com/product-guides/product-guides/call-of-duty/light#windows-defender)

<summary>Driver Status 0x4 or Bluescreen</summary>

Disable Virtualisation in BIOS

</details>

<summary>Failed to Compile Loader</summary>

* Rename the Launcher to something else
* Move the loader to desktop and inside a folder.

<summary>Lagging ESP (Visual Lag / Delays)</summary>

* **T**urn off Xbox Game Mode in Windows Settings.
* Disable GPU Hardware Acceleration in apps that support it.
* Close and Disable all overlays. (Nvidia, Discord, Xbox Game Bar)
* Close Wallpaper Engine.
* Turn off Gsync /&#x20;
* Change your windows scale to 100%

<summary>No Black Box Top Left / No Menu Visible / White Screen</summary>

* Make sure the game is not in fullscreen exclusive.&#x20;
* Close and Disable all overlays. (Nvidia, Discord, Xbox Game&#x20;
* Close Wallpaper Engine.
* Make sure the cheat and spoofer have both loaded without failure.
